Can I drive a Luton Van on my standard drivers’ licence?

Despite the size of the van our Luton Vans come within the 3.5 ton weight restrictions which means that you can legally drive this on your Standard UK car licence, but it's worth noting that these are much wider, longer and higher than a car and why we put a sticker on the dash to remind the height of the van so you can safely negotiate the best route avoiding low bridges and car park height restrictions.

It’s also worth noting that like all Van Hire companies we will check that your licence is valid, up to date and has no more than 6 points on it. We will also check to ensure you don’t have any previous convictions that will stop you from hiring.
